I agree that Mordechai seemed phoned in. Definitely lacking the wow factor in terms of guitar licks and bass grooves.

Yaeji is pure

IMO it is more of the same. I don’t think it’s bad it’s just, they are who they are; super chill, lightly funky, vaguely exotic. It’s atmosphere music. If you liked their previous LPs you will probably like this one too. That being said I think I’ve had my fill. I probably won’t be adding any more of their LPs to my collection moving forward.
