Last year I went down the wormhole and got all his 70s albums. The surprising thing is how consistent they are, as you are always told Elton is a ‘singles act’. Honky Chateau, Don’t Shoot The Piano Player, all great. And last year you could have got them all in bargain bins. Not any more!
