RTJ4 deluxe was in the Target sale yesterday...not sure if it sold out yet or not though. Haven't seen a black vinyl though.

RTJ3 was only ever released on gold vinyl, afaik.

Okay the reason I ask is Amazon in Canada has what's listed as the deluxe for $45. Which is a really good price, but it's not listed as color. And after some searching I found two listings overseas that show black vinyl, including actual mockups of black vinyl. So I'm trying to figure out if that's a mistake or if Amazon is actually selling the black...

@Mather the Target sale has the deluxe at the same price and you can do the buy 2 get 1 free deal so it comes out to $30. Amazon is price matching which is probably why it is so "cheap" on amazon.ca . Target does not specify the color but I'm guessing since it says deluxe edition, it is the color one.

Yeah thanks, we don't have Target in Canada so it's a moot point about that sale unfortunately BUT yes I'm hoping that's why it's so cheap here right now. Juno UK also has the Deluxe color listed at $50 CAD so I'm kinda hoping the black ones are actually a mistake....

I think every pressing I've ever seen of any RTJ album on vinyl has been on colour vinyl. So they do have a precedent.

Nice, I found it odd that I actually found a mock-up of black vinyl on these two websites, but nothing anywhere else...

Dude, It's Amazon. Order it and if it isn't the right color, return it. easy peasy.

I'm proud to say I'm one of the few people I've heard of that actually got an email from Amazon asking why I return so many things. I pointed out that they have a habit of SHIPPING RECORDS IN PLASTIC BAGS and they apologized and promised to do better.

And just for the record I do try to avoid Anazon as much as possible but on some records up here it's just a necessity unless you want to pay 30% more at a local. I can't do $65 for a standard release record unless it's AP or Mofi. And we don't have the delivery options and online record retailer options you guys do.

I sometimes buy from Amazon because I am lazy and they have good deals.
