Really? Never knew anyone was repulsed by them, that seems extreme.

I lived in Atlanta for 7 years and never warmed up to them. I love most Southern culinary treats, but I found boiled peanuts repulsive. My wife is the same way.

Boiled nuts im intrigued. What peanut exactly? Like a monkey nut? Just boiled plain in water or with added flavours? Explain please lol

Yeah a normal peanut. I think monkey nut is what you guys call them but not sire. You get them green (that's just what we call raw ones that haven't been dried or roasted) and you boil them for a few hours in salty water. Other flavorings as you see fit.

Not sure how easy it is to get green ones everywhere. I think there are dried green ones as well, you just have to boil em longer.

I usually only really see these nuts around Halloween over here tbh and I always thought how they were sold to me was how they are when picked. My life is a lie lol
