While very different from Nirvana and The Clash if you are going down the punk rabbit hole @NathanRicaud i would also suggest Marquee Moon by Television

Confused with “punk” and Nirvana in the same post...

Hahaha! I like Nirvana @NathanRicaud and Nevermind is a decent album. i agree with @juiceless that it ain’t punk. Don’t know about that pressing, I have a club release. If you want to go down the punk rabbit hole I’d be saying Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Wire and then onto post punk Magazine, PiL, Joy Dvision. Plenty of great stuff out there.

@Joe Mac - So you think Nevermind is a decent album??? Why did you pick it up on vinyl then? Like do you prefer Nirvana’s “Nevermind” more or Julia Jacklin’s “Crushing”? 🤔

Also, I remember briefly checking out Joy Division because of Danny Brown’s Atrocity Exhibiton! I think I did actually really enjoy their album “Closer”!

I’m definitely going to check out Television’s “Marquee Moon” @Murfocakes ! I just did some research on it and it seems like it had a strong influence on ‘alternative’ music! And the reviews are sooooo strong! Can’t wait to listen to that album and to a few Joy Division albums! ☺️

decent is good, not bad.

I bought it cuz I like listening to it from time to time and it has some great singles on it. I think it’s importance was more in that it was a palate cleanser that created a shift in dynamic within alternative music. I’d take all 6 of the bands i mentioned above it. In particular i‘d recommend Joy Divison’s Unknown Pleasures, Wire’s Pink Flag and Buzzcock‘s Singles Going Steady.
