Jack White in both alphabetisation methods. In heathenous Discogs J is before W. In correct alphabetisation White, Jack comes before White Stripes.

isn’t correct alphabetisation more convent though @gaporter? When I think I want to listen to Dylan, for expample, I automatically go D without thinking. If it was under B I’d have to double think and that’d be oh so confusing!

@Joe Mac different methods for different peeps, I suppose. It's easier for me to just have whatever the first letter in the artists name is dictate where it goes (exceptions being words like "the" and such). But I get if someone would do it by last names if that makes more sense to them

Haha fair enough! I think it’s actually because I was conditioned by the fact that I loved libraries as a kid and also the fact that we were always sorted by surname in the register at school 😂. Well that and the fact that I’m not on first name turns with Bob, David, Bruce et al 😂

I definitely put artists in by their last name unless it’s a group. Bob dylan is in d’s as is Dave Matthews band. It’s the “correct” way to do it. ;)
