I heard bad. I think from @Mather?

I had 3 copies and all of them were crackly messes. I wouldn't bother unless it's very cheap to get.

Most (if not all) Rolling Stones reissues from the last 20 years suck. Bright as the sun and dynamically compressed. Except for the early 2k “Exile” that sounds like mud. If you are hell bent on a new copy, I’d try the latest reissue mastered at Abbey Road.

@Mather there is a raffle for one in a group on Facebook. $3 spots. Was thinking of grabbing a few. Checking my copy now to see how bad it is. Doesn’t sound terrible just a little crackly.

Pass on it.

Mine is good; a little bright as @HiFi Guy says, but my pressing has no crackle that I can recall. I don't know that the mastering and/or pressing are so good I'd advocate spending a lot on it though.

I ended up not taking any spots. But it’s fine cause now I know what spots I could have had so if they don’t hit I know I made the right choice. Haha Probably better I spend the funds elsewhere from the sound of things though.
