Well of course I do, it was all tolerable though until the very last track which is a absolute disaster but actually the rest was pretty good compared to the the first couple discs they sent me, the ones that arrived without the box set... Those were awful. Still deciding what to do... to keep, to keep and replace discs with regular set or to return to Bezos.

And the last track is the delicate beautiful closer at a low level where the crackle stands out, on some of the earlier louder ones it may have been tolerable

I don’t know if there were ever that many quiet ones and after 4 years now in the minging paper sleeves the odds are likely even lower.

Yeah exactly. I figured I MIGHT give one standard black Optimal a shot then call it a day. But the likelihood of getting a good one seems pretty low.

The optimal one I got was in printed card inners rather than those shitty paper ones so the odds of a good one of those are much better. Mine is fine. The temptation would be, if you weren’t as Radiohead nuts as i am, to just return the box and make do with the standard optimal press.

Yeah, I like the package and love the tape and got it for 60 CAD which is pretty good, but still too much for how crappy the pressing is... We shall see. Trying to see if I can salvage either of these shipped without the box C/D discs.
