COVID-19 is already beyond the point of being containable. Most of y’all will get it. You’ll also live through it. The sky isn’t falling, and this isn’t Captain Trips.

I am not kidding when I say I suspect I just underwent having it. Whatever I had wrecked my respiratory system like never before all while feeling like I had the flu. I was in an international airport the week prior.

@Chucktshoes yeah I’m actually a pharmacist. Coronavirus is the cause of a ton of cold (like 30%), but this strain is particularly virulent. That being said, influenza is still more problematic

Yep. COVID-19 is far more virulent than other strains, but like you said, influenza does kill way more folks on the annum. Still, I think it is wise for folks to make preparations and engage in some behavior modifications (like stop touching their faces so much) to help minimize the inevitable impact. To that end, I’m all about rational and non-exaggerated discussion of the topic where it arises.
