No joke, I'm planning to clean the drains in my house this weekend - I'm jealous that you're done

I'm a pretty handy guy, but I'm unsure about what "cleaning the drains" is...? Like are your sinks all running slow?

Yep, cleaning out the hair and other repugnant shit that builds up - just the shower drain is running slow, but once I get the snake thing out I might as well hit the others. Fun stuff.

Ah. Gotcha. Our sink was so clogged the other day I took the plunger to it. Running like a champ now. Real romantic stuff.

Every time you dump bleach and chemicals down there you're taking layers off your pipe from the inside. It's a good last resort but as a regular method I wouldn't do it in any property that I own.

To be honest I tend not to put things down the sink that require major unblocking. We don’t do that whole waste disposal unit nonsense over here and I even collect fat and dispose of it in the bins. the bath Doesn’t tend to block from hair for whatever reason. It’s once a year, often much longer, that it needs doing.

Also, my wife and I just go to Chipotle every Valentine's Day now because we were tired of the pressure of trying to do something nice. Works pretty well.
