I just got back into vinyl two years ago this coming June. I was into it years ago when I was a young one; had a Onkyo reciever, Pioneer reverb amp, Yamaha TT, Advent speakers. Many great albums! Well I got married, stereo started acting up, vinyl died, it all went by the wayside. Almost a couple years ago, my son bought me a couple Queen albums, I had to buy something to play them on, but had to keep it simple as I am retired, on fixed income, etc…
I bought a Fluance TT, and the Fluance Ai61 bookshelf speakers. I was impressed with the sound, but added an Art DJPREE II preamp, and it got better. Then I took a big jump and bought a
AT-VM95ML stylus mounted on a RigB body, it sounded awesome. Then I bought the Fluance subwoofer, and life got even better! I have the system in an old bedroom and it is perfect there! Pretty simple but sounds really good!!!!
The speakers are up high, in each corner facing my recliner.
