Let's See What Makes Your Vinyl Spin!

Speaking of nice racks, I put in an order for one of these from Timbernation this week. It’s their “Standard Stack Rack.”

This will be for my Transrotor Fat Bob and Pass XP17 in the basement. I ordered it with a Tiger Maple top shelf and regular maple for the bottom two as you won’t get to see them as much. 10-12 more weeks to go.
That looks really spectacular!

Damn, you're going to own a fine looking setup.

It’s going to take a couple days to get everything transferred and set up, but new rack came in yesterday. Custom built by a friend who runs a woodworking business as a side job. Mostly Butcher Block Acoustics design with some elements borrowed from Timber Nation.

I love the look of this. Very solid and clean, but has that warm wood grain. Fantastic piece of furniture.

And another gorgeous rack graces the thread. It's a parade.

That looks awesome. Do you have specs or plans for the build?
I don't have the plans, but I do have the specs.
48" W x 20" D. I think the final height is like 26"

My requests where the shelf size listed above, maple shelves, walnut legs. 7" between top and middle shelf. 10" between bottom and middle. I also requested the shelves by 2" thick. I think they are closer to 1.75", but certainly thick enough to get the job done. Finish is semigloss, using whatever BBA has listed on their site (can't remember off hand).
And I selected the spikes and sent them to him to have them built in. I went fairly affordable because I may decide to switch to Herbies giant sliders at some point.

He brought it over with the legs assembled, and the shelves pre-drilled and we did final assembly in the room. My guess is that it weights around 150lbs.

Give it one more tier and another inch of space between the bottom and middle shelves and that'd be exactly what I need. I'm going ot resume drooling now.

Your friend could certainly prey on audio hobbyists, if not already busy enough.
