Yea unfortunately. Which is weird because the precision deck is just the Ultradeck with a fancier finish so the precision shouldn't have been a factor into the pricing but it is what it is. I'd love to give the masterdeck a listen

Have you tried any other speakers in your system other than the Whardale Linton? How do those sound to you? How would you describe it? I have a denon x4400H and Emotiva XPA 5 gen 3 that I was thinking of pairing with them

I would only buy it deeply discounted for as high as maybe $3,500 or $3,000 used. 6 grand puts it in stiff competition but it is undoubtedly an impressive deck

I grounded my TT to my AVR and it made a HUGE difference. There is still some very low and minor feedback I can notice above 75db when I put my ear to the speaker so while it's barely noticeable I'll be work on eliminating that. Side note. I bought the Hudson Hifi VTA block to adjust the...

I've tried just grounding the turntable to the phono and just grounding the phono to the AVR but there is still a hum. 🙁

Also I noticed I'm getting what seems to be RF interference from Spectrum internet cables hanging around in the area. They aren't in use of as I have a new cable provider so I wonder if that energy that's no longer going into a device is just feeding its energy waves through the air into my devices

Ah I see. Yeah I'm still learning but thanks for that. I didn't think about trying to ground the turntable to the amp but it's worth a shot! I'll have to pick one up on Amazon. Also I figured out part of the problem thanks to a YouTube video. I had my phono stage connected to the phono input...

To be honest I can hear the hum when everything is hooked up but the turntable isn't even on. The phono stage is always on as there is no on/off button on it, once its plugged in it stays on. I turn my AVR on and there's no hum but once I select the Phono input I can hear a hum with the phono...

It's grounded with the grounding wire that came with the turntable to the phono stage and another grounding wire from the phono stage to the AVR. The phono stage has another grounding with from it to the AVR that I got from Blue Jeans.
