I don't know if it's the same thing but any big swings in the value of my collection (eg the time it grew and fell by £3,000 in a day) I now put down to changes in my currency (pounds) versus the dollar. That would probably explain the small differences, but not the big ones.

Agreed - but I feel like I've replaced just about everything now. And I can tell that what I did to compensate for the pump not working properly has driven it hard. Maybe it just makes sense to keep on replacing each bit that breaks but feels like there must be a point where it's time to throw...

Just sold my Vol 2 (never my favourite show) for £205 on Ebay, which on checking I see is higher than the Discogs max #smugface (In fact, I sold three vinyl boxsets, all at v good prices so there's still air in the vinyl bubble)
