It did qualify for at least one 40% off sale and I think was listed in stock for the last 30% off sale. So while it might not’ve been the best deal compared to a swaption, there have been chances for people to jump on it at a lower price.

Has VMP said anything about it? I haven't seen any discussion and the hip hop channel on the VMP discord is kind of useless for ROTM talk as it's basically become a "general rap chat" channel. Currently they're talking about how pretentious Andre 3000's flute album is.

Must've been at the very tail-end of swaps because I remember checking a few hours before swaps closed and saw it was still available. I had it as an add-on and considered dropping it for another month but fortunately decided against it.
