It was 99% sure is was the UltraTracker that I ordered. (I assume) rebuilt into a MasterTracker body.
I feel like I updated the thread since that initial post, but in case I didn't. It was mistracking in about 6 months of fairly heavy play. That's an elliptical....which is what I said it...
I don't believe such a program exists. I've now talked to two retailers, including the one I bought it from--and MOFI themselves.
I've read about what it's "supposed to be" upthread. Literally nothing official on the internet about.
It's too bad I wanted to try the MasterTracker to see if it...
The rear legs have the same piston action, just thicker “feet”.
Mine has gone back to doing the same thing. Even not keeping the dust cover hinged.
Funny thing is, if I put the old ones back on….they hold for maybe a day beforebottoning out. Then put the replacements back on and they hold for...
MOFI sent replacement legs out today.
Moral to this story--it's always good to spontaneously check with a bubble level! Ha. I was literally just answering someone's question "what's that thing for?" ...and I put it on the platter to show them--only it wasn't level...leads to my releveling the...
I've reached out to MOFI first. I bought it from Crutchfield. They've always been good to me, but it seem like this would be more a warranty repair/leg replacement at 6 months. If MOFI blows me off I'll ask Crutchfield.
FWIW--MOFI (a month ago?) referred be back to the dealer for the cartridge...
Well, I have been keeping it on...so, it was on when I noticed it. Removing it doesn't seem to change the behavior. I DID wonder if leaving it on but up while playing wasn't too much for the back legs. That would be, how you say, poor design....IMO....but, maybe....
I moved my two thicker...
Update...I removed them--they all seem to have similar tensions to the pistons...they ARE however...two have thinner feet--the part of the piston that touches the shelf is thicker on two than the other two....I wonder if the set is 2x2...and two are supposed to go on the back position...where...
I'm turning the larger part closer to the body to adjust height...which works and isn't really what I'm saying. The piston is fully depressed on the back two. If I remove the foot all together, it pops back out and has SOME resistance. But, with the weight of the table it's fully depressed...
So, I just noticed that the back two legs of my Ultradeck seem to have lost suspension. Meaning no matter how I screw to adjust them...the weight of the table fully compresses the piston-like foot.
The front two seem fine. Anyone else run into this? Is there a secondary setting besides the...

Via RPM Wow App on iPhone 14.
But, it registers differently depending on position on the platter—or the above it with a weight that allows center phone placement.
I would point out that the calibration is likely in the control...
Yeah. I’m convinced this cart I have, despite cosmetics is an elliptical UltraTracker. I saw the sale and wondered how that changed the trade in value of my upgrading this to the Microline.
It’s on sale through dealers, too. Im thinking of calling Crutchfield where I recently bought the deck. I...
In case anyone is interested, I took the AT vm95 off my old Technics and put it on. I have a brand new Microline styli and a worn but not showing signs of being "done" Shibata.
Both aligned without issue. Tracked like champs. I took measurements and photos before so I could get the factory...
Maybe I got one sitting around from the same mystery era!
Issuing correction on my secondary query: the model is the AudioTechnica 740ML, the 750 is for the Shibata. Same aluminium cartridge...different styli. I should've googled first. To be fair--it's because I liked the Shibata on my vm95...
Because I need to see how much of the improvement I hear is the deck vs the cartridge.
The 750ML is an annual’ish $210 spend on a stylus. Not $800….and is by spec the closest AT comes to what they made for the MasterTracker.
When I first got it, I was confused how they got an elliptical to...
