I don’t have recommendations for everything, but I’d definitely buy a Technics 1200GR2. As far as a cartridge, I’d get something with a replaceable stylus- maybe a Nagaoka MP500 or maybe a Grado Gold3. Have a backup stylus on hand- accidents happen.
I compared the MM-6 to the Duo, and the Duo was better. But the difference wasn’t nearly as much as one might expect given the vast price difference.
I’d think the Darlington and the Insight would be very similar.
