I don’t have recommendations for everything, but I’d definitely buy a Technics 1200GR2. As far as a cartridge, I’d get something with a replaceable stylus- maybe a Nagaoka MP500 or maybe a Grado Gold3. Have a backup stylus on hand- accidents happen.

I’m using the Le Son LS10 MkII. I have no desire to change and I prefer it to the Hana MH. The Le Son will work great with the Ultradeck.

I compared the MM-6 to the Duo, and the Duo was better. But the difference wasn’t nearly as much as one might expect given the vast price difference. I’d think the Darlington and the Insight would be very similar.

I’d have probably tried 10k loading if that were an option for me. 56 dB gain is what you want.

Buy the Delryn tube and you are good to go. The regular plastic ones aren’t so great.
