Got my copy of Mr Hands in today. I have no other versions of the album to compare it to but I can say the album slaps.

Got my copy in today. The remastered album sounds great and has a couple of pretty solid songs (I think meet me at the movies is kind of dumb though). The attic demos are... Interesting, they're a neat addition but they definitely sound rough. Basically as you would expect from being recorded...

They send orders out in waves in a rotating fashion (it at least used to be based on first name sometimes and last name others. I think it still is.). So sometimes your order will be shipped or about to ship when you receive the email and other times you might have to wait awhile.

So what are the chances that Madlib/Freddie Gibbs ships this month? Haven't seen anything about it besides my orders page saying ships early September.

They ask that like 2 months before shipping. You will get a tracking number when it actually ships (which should be this coming month I think).

2019 has been killer honestly. The few I didn't want (Loretta Lynn, Van Morrison, and SK) I honestly just skipped. And even then those albums were more interesting than some that I did get when I originally did a year subscription, I'm looking at you Torres, Wilco, Blessed Feathers and Nada...

I was impressed with the color reproduction. I kind of expected such a vibrant jacket to look uneven or washed out but it was actually perfect.

While cool to see it work, having a "high end" table that wobbles like the mag Lev does is awful and, unless something has changed, the table comes with a pretty detailed warning telling you not to operate it for too long.... Yeah I didn't even realize they weren't selling them anymore. Now...

That's the thing that amazes me. It's the exact same idea as a Gramavox and yet the execution is just so much crappier (with the Gramavox not exactly being an amazing option to begin with) and yet it's going to bring in so much money.

This is for quarter 4. They're just releasing the info on it really early. Not sure if they're planning to do this going forward but this won't arrive until December or January probably if I understand correctly.

Between the delays and all of the distributor issues, we're really seeing the industry buckle under itself this year. I fully expect Black Friday RSD to be the shitshow that other RSD was this year.
