They are awful now ...so bad I don't even bother going in ... as they are crap and super expensive....use the website only , still do the odd good sale ..but the stores are so poor ! Birmingham has a massive one ...and it’s also crap

The one In Sunderland is awash with comic book bollocks. on The odd occasion I venture in I’m sure I bring the average age of the place up by about 20 years too.

Hello mates! I need help. I have to purchase a spare part for my baby's crib. It's a toy bar from Chicco. Now, the website only ships to the UK. So I propose the following arrangement: I purchase the part, ship it your home address and then you can ship the box to me in Paraguay via DHL or FedEx. I of course will pay you back for the international shipping by wiring the funds via Western Union or purchase records equivalent in value from your online record shop of choice. Please let me know if anyone agrees to this. Thank you!!

Top cashback is doing 20% off eBay. Juno’s eBay store has new hummingurus. They’re a package deal for £450 with the two adapters and the maintenance kit.
So when you get your cashback (via top cashback) in a month or so you’ll have paid about £360 delivered… with no customs.
So a bit of a cockaround and time limited but cheaper than ordering direct when shipping and customs are taken into consideration. Just don’t forget to go to eBay via TopCashback

Has anyone here ordered from Scott Nangle? (@Joe Mac I seem to recall you might have?). I have an account with them from years ago and signed in to place an order. I went through the checkout process but never got a chance to pay, it went straight to "Order Confirmed". Either it remembered my card details from before (money hasn't left my bank account yet) or there's another step needed once I get the confirmation email. It said I was to get the email shortly but it has been over an hour and there's nothing in my inbox or junk.
Any ideas? Thanks

I got some stuff of them pre Covid, it was always a bit weird but it came. Had a few issues over the lockdown with orders and weird emails from him so stopped using him. It’s like dealing with Rab C Nesbitt in the twilight zone…
He has a really strange system. You don’t pay on ordering. The order goes to him and then he generates an invoice to pay through some weird card payments system that he uses.

What Joe said about the paying system. I stopped ordering from him because frequently stuff was listed as in stock and then you’d be left waiting weeks until it was actually in stock and he wouldn’t ship until the whole order was complete. Decent prices though typically.

I was ordering some Sam Records releases and Scott Nangle came to the same amount (ish) as the Sam Records website but without the worry of being hit with import fees, etc from France. Might just bite the bullet with Sam Records direct and hope for the best.

I once emailed him to ask about the lead in time on an album. He emailed back that he could fulfil pre-orders fine. So I ordered. Two hours later he axed my order and sent me an email saying I’d ordered something that was out of stock so he’d cancelled it.Well I received this cryptic email today and just went on my account to see there's no orders in there, so it must have been cancelled

Bloke is completely nuts.
i ordered a record once and he figured I had an SACD player because I’d ordered some from him in the past. The record was out of stock but he had the fuck chad SACD. i said nah I only wanted the record please cancel. He spent a month sending me links to the universal fire with gobbledygook English text accompanying it and then out of the blue randomly cancelled it like I had originally asked…

Also, I am pretty sure it was possible to pick-up Mr Bongo orders at their physical shop in Brighton but this option doesn't appears in their shipping options. Any of you can confirm it was possible or is it something I dreamt of?
