Hip Hop

New Gunn is kinda average for him on a first listen unfortunately, particularly when compared with what his labelmates/peers have been dropping for the last while. That being said a lot of what Griselda drop are slow burners to me so I might warm to it. Revenge of The Dreamers was solid but nothing mind-blowing, a fun record with some good songs and a lot of great verses (When I saw Cole x Nudy I was really hoping it'd be a Pi'erre beat but Chasethemoney was a good choice too)

Man, didn't somebody on the VMP forum say that J.I.D told them DiCaprio 2 was getting announced on vinyl? That's what this dreamers thing has me thinking about.

I like this video:

Same, I looked at his site earlier when listening to Dreamers to double check I hadn't missed him putting it up for sale

Really wasn't impressed with the ROTD3. There were a few joints on it but overall really wasn't my vibe. Kinda had a feeling that would happen though as I didn't really latch on to any of the singles they released on the lead up to this. Definitely like the Beast Coast group album more.

Finally listening to this vinyl for Essential Mental Nutrients and it's super dope.

Fav track so far:

Edit: I just got to "Self Defeater" and that might be it now. Any song that samples "Timeless" is bound to be dope.

I like this, where did you hear about it? Seems like they are almost ghosts on the internet other than being on it.

Canadian rap group from the 90s .. never really made it big but had a few singles. Their album was recently reissued by DWG, a UK based rap label that reissues rare rap records. One of the main dudes from DWG is a member here too.
