my favorite National tracks are the more melancholy and sonically beautiful. I'd say pretty consistently here the "rock"-ier tracks fall nearer the bottom

I'm pretty much the opposite for the most part. I think that's why I didn't love I Am Easy To Find.

makes sense. I LOVE I Am Easy to Find. it's probably my second favorite album after Boxer...and I wonder how much memory and nostalgia play in that ranking...like, if I heard them all straight through for the first time today would I still rate Boxer highest?

Yeah that’s when I fell off from being super into them, I’ve listened to Plastic Beach and beyond and while I dig the albums as a whole I’ve found I really only cared for a handful of tracks like I do the songs from the self titled to D-Sides albums.

My #1 from Plastic Beach would have to be Broken though, excellent song
