Pre-Order Thread

they were comps for charity that have never been on vinyl before. some great artists + covers on them, a lot of which haven't been released elsewhere. radiohead, gorillaz, TVOTR, Beck, etc.
Are these tracks available digitally though? Sorry, I don’t listen to many comps on vinyl.

Killing Joke "killing Joke" and "pylon"

50 each is too much for me....
Hey, Jaz Coleman's Icelandic nuclear bomb-proof underground bunker does not come cheap

Preorders for the next pressing are up at the label including standard black for $32.

That green looks very nice. Might have to finally grab a copy. Trying to sell my red cartridge copy of Spider-Man Maximum Carnage for the snes on ebay right now first lol.

MOV did a release of the S/T. I have it and it's amazing. If you can get that cheaper it'd be worth it. The pressing sounds really good and the textured gatefold was a nice touch.

i think quite a few are on streaming if you wanna check em out. The Heroes one and Day In The Life are both solid. Don't know the others.

I own War Child on vinyl.

One of my fave box sets.
weird! didn't even know it existed. i don't see it on discogs. i know SOME of their stuff is on vinyl but didn't see any of the ones that were just reissued (i think all the PR said for the first time on vinyl too). are those 7"s?

oh now i see it as a 7" box set. i guess they meant it wasn't on 12" LPs?

Wouldn't be the first time I owned something and then in the future it was advertised as first time.

Berenstain Bears and all that.

Sorry, just curious, what’s the story behind these comps? Why the frenzy?

These were originally done where the original artist picked their favorite newer artist to cover their song- so at the time it was really cool to see Bowie, Springsteen, etc picking newer indie artists like TV On The Radio, The Hold Steady to do their songs.

Yeah this is the one I think of, the 45's have the cover on one side and the original on the other, so this is just the covers which is likely the difference.
