Goldeneye N64 Orchestrated [241/357]

This was done with love. Great pressing, sound is excellent and the whole package and music is a blast to the past. Such a cool thing to have.

This is also my album for the "yearn day" over in the challenge thread. Listening to this was like transporting back with my friends playing Goldeneye for hours and watching Pierce Brosnan Bond movies. Good times.

Insomnia got me again, so I'm playing a few singles.

Now entering one of my favorite parts of my collection! I'll try to tackle all of the discography in a row in a couple of days, I'd like to listen to them with a little something special...

For now...

Radiohead "Drill EP" [242/357]

Hows it sound? Cant wait to pick this one up, although I might leave it a few weeks to find a good deal on the 3 new ones.

Sounds great to me! My only frame of reference for this recording is an older CD (so this is a huge jump for me), but I’d say it matches the quality of the other Tone Poets.

Lee. Oh, Lee.

I think the world of you. But the White Album is less than spectacular??? Please please put the crack pipe down.
We’ve been through this! 😉🤣
What’s funny as I am doing this off the shelf stuff... it’s the only record I have three different versions of (on vinyl - five I think mixed media and I once owned it on cassette) although, I’ll get one more copy of Sgt Peppers one day. The only other artist with multiple vinyl copies in my collection is Bowie and that’s because those damn boxes are over bloated.

edit: correction- thankfully @Tyr convinced me to get the remaster of Purple Rain on vinyl so I have two of those too.

Day 11: Album You’ve Gotten From A Record Club

Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers - Africaine (Blue Note, 2018 BN Review Vol.2 Pressing)

I think the Blue Note review counts as a club, they call it a 'Limited Edition Subscription Service' on their website....so I guess that counts?
