This isn't good news, especially when goods are paid for in advance by customers anyway. New IT systems don't come cheap either, so the problem is being compounded with additional system costs and expenses from the mailing errors until they get it right.

Considering the number of customers affected who are now sitting back until things are resolved, there's even less membership and preorder income.

Crazy times indeed. Also makes sense why they have so few CS people considering the size of the company.

Peep that last link that was in my original post about Adam (quoted above). They were struggling to get paid "after landing a large partnership deal with a large global conglomerate Retailer" from about September of last year into January or so. For 4 months they couldn't get paid after invoicing them and only worked it out at all by paying another outside company to help them get the cash.

I mean I’m in Dublin. I’ve seen them live at Croke Park, got drunk, the atmosphere was great and they put on the right type of gig for 90,000 odd drunk Irish men and Irish women in the home of all things irish. But, I’m being serious though! I mean, I am pretty confident in my mind that VMP will stay in business for a long time. But now, what everyone is saying, has me concerned. But overall when I really think about, I think VMP will stick around, they’re just in a crisis at the moment! 😅

Blindsided? I know they do a lot of errors and are stuffing up, I have pointed them out too, but like I’ve said, everything has been going well for me, with them. No lost packages, vinyl comes to me, vinyl is packed well, everything I ordered actually processed and comes to me etc.

I’m paying attention to what everyone is saying, but I’m still confident that VMP will get much better after this crisis and will stick around! 🤞

Placed an order in March of the year they disappeared.
At the end of June, I e-mailed with a detailed list of what I ordered, including a discount code used and the exact amount paid.

Mysteriously, a box with NO tracking appeared soon after.
Sadly, their website disappeared soon after THAT.
I still miss that company.

Well, sometimes I still get shocked. But I am becoming less and less surprised! Right now, I’m not really shocked about anything because the struggle for VMP is real! Like, this mess VMP is in, is next level!
