Figured this needed its own thread. Not sure if we want a general thread or maybe one for each set.

Got my shipping notice yesterday. It's coming from Denver so hopefully it won't take that long. Pretty excited to try some jazz I wouldn't normally purchase. Going to try to actually sit and absorb it with nothing else going on versus my usual listening experience which is having something on while working. I haven't listened to the podcasts yet. I suppose I'll do that before the records get here. Anyone else sign up for this?

Got my shipping notice too. Hope it's good. There were a lot of things wrong with the Tone Poet recent releases by all accounts, so hopefully VMP's turn out better.

I'd love a hip hop anthology spanning from like the 80's to current or something of the sort. I'm not sure any other genre would catch my interest unless they did a specific artist or something.

I joined the current anthology because I want to try to get into Jazz more. The podcast is kinda cool, but the Facebook group is just a bunch of people posting pictures of their Jazz albums over and over.

Ehhh, I don’t think so. I strongly suspect that even though the subject or manner may have differed, he would have found a way to completely piss of everyone all the same.

Some folks can be so enamored with the smell of their own bullshit that they’re completely oblivious to the fact that they’re covered in bullshit and everyone is running away from them. He’s that type of person.

Yeah I gave him the benefit of the doubt and more than a few chances but every time he'd run back to the rampant self promotion and fervent corporate hyperbole that I finally just went "Nup can't do this.." I'm sure he'll show up here at some point though... With likely much the same results.
