It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Since I’m still new, do most footballers retire gracefully?

It depends. There has definitely been a streak with the drive that makes all time greats be all time greats that lends itself to them not being able to see that time has caught up with them.

It’s also hard to have all that graceful an end unless you’re a one club man, or have been at the one club for a signing amount of time. Then you might be afforded to pick your time. Otherwise it’s generally a manager calling your time.

It’s a brutal game from both sides at the sharp end.

My wife likes the new Arsenal away kit 🤢
Backstory: So I'm going through the Arsenal team video uploads yesterday after work. Timber's first day/interview. Rice's first day/interview. Germany vlog from that trip.

My wife: Who is that new guy. He is cute

Me: Declan Rice. The one everyone has been talking about

My wife: oh the Rice, Rice, baby song?

Me: yes that is the one

My wife: I want his jersey this year since Xhaka left

Me: that'll be a good one, he's going to be big for the club for sure. You want the new red one like I got?

My wife: No I want the one u said looked like a f**** up Zebra

Me: Are you sure...it's hideous

My wife: I like it...It's trendy, and with Rice on the back cuz he's cute

Me: yupp. You got it
