Been making myself listen to some of my many CDs recently. Here's some solid symphonic metal from The Netherlands. For fans of Nightwish, Evanescence, Within Temptation, etc.
I discovered a lot of incredible and pretty obscure soul music through the amazing four compilations (on CD) of Dave Godin's Deep Soul. Perhaps the very best of all was Doris Duke, and this is her main, and heartbreaking, album.
It seems I might have missed 76 out so here's a cross post from the Feb challenge. I liked the odd track from Beyoncé but hadn't really plunged into her albums until recently. But I love this a lot.
Fantastic indeed. Just like pretty much anything they've done up until the Missing Piece. Glad to see Gentle getting some love around here. Haven't found anything quite as unique in the prog-rock space.
Finally getting to the Vinyl Stack @BjorgenFjorgen put together for me. It's amazing when you think you're going to have a mellow weekend, something happens and throws it all into disarray. Anywho...
