Yeah, this absolutely sucks for Luck. And for Indy too. That must have been a heart wrenching decision - he knows he is screwing with their season.

I'm disgusted. I too, am demanding an explanation. I'm so sorry, @Teeeee.
This may be the final straw on this camel's back re: supporting the NFL. I'm not only disgusted but deeply saddened. NOLA has a huge LGBTQ community. And NOLA is all about the Saints. He has just told off a good portion of his fan base.

My interest in the NFL has been dwindling in the past two years as a result of many factors. Among those:
- Player safety not being made a priority. I understand that gridiron football is a contact sport and an injury to a player is almost certain during a game, but something needs to be done.
- Kneeling during the flag was (and sometimes still is) an incredibly frustrating distraction. The NFL has done a few things to help mitigate this, but when they stated that teams can stay in the locker room during the National Anthem, I facepalmed.
- Roger Goodell is a travesty of a commissioner.
- Ridiculous commercialism during games.
Not buying any more NFL merchandise (I have plenty anyways). - What you just posted with Brees.
Can't wait for basketball though, as my avatar might imply!
Sadly, I agree. One of my very good friends and I have always thought he is a supporter of the dude occupying the white house. And Drew has several Jimmy John's franchises. I was able to turn a blind eye. Until now.

I want to be very clear. I have no problem with him being religious. I have no problem with the bible aspect of this. It is who he partnered with on this video that I have a problem with. Conversion therapy is evil. And that is only a portion of what they support.

Yeah I’ve always suspected as much re: drew’s political affiliations. It sucks because in terms of his sports impact, he’s probably the most meaningful athlete of my life so far and he’s done a lot of good stuff for the city.
I hate the NFL (and the NCAA) but I just love football too much to let all of its trash people (and decent people with trash opinions like Brees) stop me from watching. It also helps that it's the perfect sport for gambling.

That game was.............something, we lost, but I'm not sure if I'm really that upset due to how flat both teams were. The Bears almost scored for the Packers, 3rd & 40, seriously. Gonna be a long Bears season
