Spotify Wrapped (share what you've been listening to!)

Seeing King Gizzard in between Westside Gunn and Benny The Butcher is hilarious. I wonder what a collab between them would sound like.

I've only heard "The Dream Is Over", but PUP is a great band to get into. Can't forget the first time I heard "If This Tour Doesn't Kill You, I Will."
Oh man, please listen to their newest album.

The majority of my Spotify time is what I play while sleeping - so it's a bit skewed that way as seen in my decade listening.

I think the major time discrepancy this year is that Spotify - or at least my app on my cheap kindle fire tablet - stops playing after a point, even when on continuous play.

Decade wrapped. Didnt start using spotify for real until 2017 so I wonder if fjm would have got aotd if it included 2015/2016. Also love how U.S. Girls got 3/5 of my songs of the decade

A teenager in Europe stealthily hacked my wife’s Spotify account for a few weeks, so her yearly recap was pretty funny to browse through.

My personal recaps are always a bit embarrassing since I listen to a ton of stuff on tape and vinyl and my Spotify doesn’t quite get the full picture of what I enjoyed that year. It’s always guilty pleasure dude bands that are not cool or DIY/punk at all.

also my year breakdown. before 2017 i was mainly listening to music on my ipod and would buy CDs. 2015 i got spotify with my student email and pretty much only used it to check out tpab and then in 2016 i 100% only listened to Hamilton on spotify lol

Ive been checking out this Leonard Cohen offering put together by his son and various artists.
I was very sceptical as I dont see this sort of thing as the artists work. But listening to Cohens voice and lyrics did change my mind somewhat. 5 solidtunes on this - “Puppets” is one his words really linger.

Here's mine:

@Joe Mac is responsible for top song #2 and @Teeeee is responsible for top song #5 🍻

I listen to Miles almost every day so this doesn't surprise me. The top of the decade actually sums up what I believe to have been my most streamed (Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Tom Waits, The Pharycyde, The Roots). Massive drop in the amount of use spotify has had from last year, almost 50% lower usage.
