Record Clamp assistance

Hello!

So I'm in the market for a record Clamp and was looking at the JA Michelle clamp.

Problem is I'm not sure if my turntable spindle has enough material showing for the clamp to properly do it's job. Realistically it has between 1/8th & 3/16ths of an inch showing (not including the tapered point)

Is this enough material to work with?
