Getting my drink on
Spend the night drinking Black and Tans Grilling Brisket and Pork Bellies from the new Puerto Rican butcher/bodega that had its grand opening on my block yesterday and playing this one at a high volume . Got massive bubble guts this morning though .

Orange Yo 🍊
I loved this album when it first came out . Reminds me of simpler times when we lived in a small apartment with no real responsibilities and my cell phone could only make calls and maybe play snake.Still gets a lot of spins when I’m in the mood.

Show off an album you discovered at your neighborhood record shop

Ahmad Jamal Trio - Ahmad Jamal at the Pershing

My favorite local record shop closed in January, which I guess was as good a time as any to do it in hindsight. Nothing would beat grabbing a beer at the biergarten next door and browsing. This is one of the cheap records I took a blind chance on and it's great.

Day 25: Channel Orange

Frank Ocean - Channel Orange (2015 Bootleg on Clear vinyl)

Time for an obvious one. Even though I have the Endless release and had the Blond, Channel Orange is my favourite album of Frank Oceans by a long shot. I picked up this bootleg years ago when I didn't really know who Frank Ocean was (or that it was a bootleg). It certainly grew on me.
