Hi Everyone, I was asked by N&G Staff Member to create this post.

You're welcome to use N&G member discount code, NEEDLES discount code to order from my turntable isolation feet store

I'm Bill and own Mnpctech in Minnesota. We are a small family owned workshop and online retailer.

I started out in 2001 making custom accessories for people who build and modify desktop PCs. Two years ago I started expanding into custom replacement and isolation feet for Turntables. I've had blip of notoriety in the Audio World when Michael Fremer said he preferred my custom Sorbothane feet over Technics factory foot design. (Stereophile (november 2018, technics SR-1000 article) I'm Currently working on new 3" diameter height adjustable leveling foot design with the same Sorbothane Isolator that will screw into 1/4-20 thread or M6 thread vinyl turntables. I also offer brass threaded insert kits for either of these threads for people making their own custom turntable plinths and isolation platforms and bases. Majority of my custom turntable feet inventory is created for people restoring vintage turntables and can't find factory replacement foot and people seeking a unique custom turntable foot upgrade for their new turntable.

If you have Turntable Custom Replacement Feet Inquiry, Please answer 1 - 4 questions below in this thread.

There is no resource for springs in feet that replace the original vintage turntable models, so I use rubber and sorbothane washers as a substitute. I can't create a foot for every model because some turntable manufacturers utilized sophisticated foot designs. I'll let you know if your turntable feet are too complex for creating a substitute.

Many people ask if my turntable upgrade feet will change or enhance the sound of their music? I don't make any claims or promises that your music will sound better or these feet will eliminate ALL vibrations. Everyone's equipment, environment, and ears are different. If you are experiencing vibration issues, you need to trace down the source. In most situations the bad vibrations to your turntable resonant from floor speakers and travels through the furniture your turntable resides upon. A quick and easy way to stop vibrations is to place thick bath towel or folded soft blanket under your turntable. Did that make a difference?

The difference between my custom turntable feet and other custom or factory feet is purely subjective. Some people claim they hear a difference while others don't.
Mnpctech custom turntable feet do not replicate your vintage or new turntable manufacturer feet. These are a custom made substitute or upgrade. If you want factory specification matching feet, your best place to search is Ebay, facebook Marketplace and Craiglist.

Worked with William at Southeasten Systems in creating set of custom isolation feet for their client's McIntosh MT10 Turntable.

This turntable retails for $12,000 and has a belt drive. (ducks under desk)

Whenever I’ve seen super expensive tables in shops or online, like gross money for a turntable, they’re nearly all belt drive…

Somebody on N&G had asked about feet for their Pro-ject Essential. Stefano recently shared pics of his Pro-ject Essential II with my custom turntable isolation feet,

Talked to Kurt this morning about making mnpctech isolation feet for his Technics SL-3. It appears to have same foot design as the SL-10 Automatic Turntable which we already make upgrade turntable isolation feet for. I told him he could return the SL-10 feet if they don't fit for some reason, but share pics if they do, so I can create new listing for them in our store.

These Technics turntables from the 80's are compact and have the minimalist "futurism" look. You could get stands for them, so you can see your LP spinning from your couch. They have a loyal fanbase, so there's lots of information online about repairing them yourself.

I've had two inquiries about making my turntable Isolation upgrade feet for the Pioneer PL-71 feet. In my research this morning, I learned the Pioneer PL-51 and PL-55x share the same bottom cover design. I found used cover on Ebay, so I can use that for making the prototype feet. It's amazing to learn that these bottom covers were metal. Pioneer really made some beautiful turntables in the mod 70's.pioneerpl71_01.jpg.3d3f30c466d2535d5abc91df9e598458.jpg

When I started expanding my business into turntable isolation feet, Mobile DJ's were the first people I reached out to for feedback on my ISO / Isolation foot design. They have to deal with every type of environment. Dj Souly said he often dealt with bouncy stages at event and wedding centers. He experienced very noticeable noise from his Technics 1200 turntables. Tapping on the plinth was like playing a drum. I sent him my Legacy foot design for two tables and over following year got feedback on their performance. After one year, that foot transformed into my 2.75" diameter foot with 1.5" diameter Sorbothane Isolator for Technics 1200/1210 turntables, which he uses today on all of his tables.
