It's summer in the northern hemisphere and there are many ways to celebrate the long sunny days. Let's spin some records to as many holidays as we can!
There are many holidays celebrated around the world, in fact there are multiple holidays for each day in June! Choose a holiday from each day and spin a record (or two!) and let us know why it fits that holiday.
In addition to the daily holidays, there are many monthly observances. If you can match up a monthly observance with the a daily spin, let us know!
June challenge rules:
1) Choose one holiday and spin a record to match the theme of the holiday. All interpretations are welcome, be as creative or literal as you like!
2) Record should be unique for that day and not have previously spun. Try not to repeat yourself throughout the whole month
3) Catch up if you miss a few days. (IN these challenges, I have been known for playing multiple records on one day!)
4) Include Artist - Album names so we can search the thread more easily.
5) Have fun!!
