I dont think it's on the level of his past work, but it's still a pretty solid album.

This new Owen Pallett album is hitting all the right spots right now. It's a grower for sure. Could easily be in my top 10 by the end of the year.

I think the digital release date was pushed up by a lot, so the vinyl plans were probably not finalized yet.

Couple of notes: Isbell wins out because of topicality. I’m equal obsessed with Moses. Grae may actually be the more accomplished record, but Isbell strikes a strong chord with the situation of the world.

He’s recently remastered his first two albums as well, so I think Domino have plans for releasing them all at the same time. I’d love to see a boxset personally.
