I want to personally thank @Mather for The Kinks FOMO. Third listen to Kinda with new speakers, new banana plugs (Jesus the old ones were just barely holding on and starting to get corroded, yech) and a basic power conditioner. *chef’s kiss*
So... this Brittany Howard is one of the most interesting and biggest sounding records of the year, too bad the pressing does it no justice.
So there is stuff I have never heard going on in The Velvet Rope. Also, the sound is pretty 3D and that’s really cool.
