  • It's impossible to get hyperbolic talking about this new Angel Olsen song (unless that counts). It's an instant classic (or that).
The most heartbreaking song ever recorded has the line "Or should we kick it's c*nt in". Who doesn't love a good knee slapper sandwiched between ugly cries. That'll do.
I keep returning to this, but just can't pull the trigger. Does anyone have Vol. 2 of the Blue Note Review, and if so, what do you think? Seems a little over-priced, but it's tough to pass on any higher end Blue Note releases, and I'm assuming those albums won't be available outside that box any time soon.

I find it impossible to pull the trigger on because I realize that I'm essentially buying it for two albums. The rest is cool and I'm sure I'll listen to the compilation once and enjoy it fine, the two reissues are the only thing I'll really come back to. Well...to be honest I'd probably frame that Elvin Jones print, but even still $200 is outrageous when you look at it like that.

It's definitely over priced... although the prints themselves go for like 150 retail.... and I do want both those reissues..... the zines could be cool too......, oh no I'm talking myself into it
Annie Clark officially has hands in ALL THE COOKIE JARS. If she's credited w/ beats on this new Missy album, she's the new Kevin Bacon.
N&G people, I need some advice. I've decided to sell off my movie collection to clear room for the other collection, and would love some recommendations on where to sell. I have a couple hundred Criterion Collections bluray/DVD's, lots of box sets, Disney blurays, etc. About 700 movies total. I'm too busy to sell them individually, so looking for a bulk buyer. Any ideas?
