So, this Joel Ross is a pretty noisy ass pressing. The first track is half vibraphone half background fuzz... not exactly a "silent" press.

I call him Ratto The Magnificent, and I'm working on a series of graphic novels in which he walks across a variety of things in the name of justice; evil doers food when they aren't looking, dictators faces as they sleep, the Constitution....
I have two thoughts about this Deluxe Anima boxset:
1. HAHAHA those discs will never fit in those booklet pockets.
B. It cost $90 and has PAPER F*CKING SLEEVES ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!?

Okay, so this new Craft AAA reissue of The Country Blues of John Lee Hooker is pretty remarkable for the price. Like, this is closing in on AP quality audio for like... $22. Gray remaster, the stereo imaging is... a little odd but holy hell does it sound crisp and dead quiet.
THAT'S IT, NO MORE RECORDS. NOOOO MORE, NOPE.
