When it gets to that point, I say just skip the clean unless it's really noisy and play the record. I know that there can be residues or whatever that can very subtly affect the sound, but I don't buy that they have long term effects. You can always clean later when you're motivated!

@dhodo Unfortunately on my system it is very apparent when an album has not been cleaned. And with the cost to replace the stylus, it is worth the extra effort. But sometimes I just feel lazy about it!

Just listen to something clean and worry about the ones needing cleaning at a later time. You don't want to make your hobby a chore, I know where your at, so just leave those be for a few days, a week, and enjoy just spinning for a while ;)

@AnthonyI - if it hadn't already been a week I wouldn't worry about it. Things are stacking up!

LOL, that's ok..........give it another week, someone said something about your own stuff being there waiting for you or something ;)

A week? Amateur. At any rate if you're using a SpinClean, then the fluid's good for a week so long as you take out the rolllers and brushes. I'd advise just cleaning records as you want to listen to them. At least if you have an inbox stack, you can assume everything in the inbox stack isn't washed.
