Nothing. I was just hanging out with a drunk Canadian who thought they were extremely racist and I had never heard or thought about it.

I don't know if they are racist or not. I do like the fact that they were label mates with N.W.A. Shame we never got a collaboration between the two groups.

Lead vocals were sung by Buddy Miles. If it were a white dude I'd lean toward yes.

Real talk: The California Raisins were instrumental in me getting into soul music at an early age. I had their "Meet The Raisins" TV special on VHS as a kid.

If they were sultanas performing traditionally Zante currant songs, then yes.
