I stopped with her a couple years ago. What did she say?
Fleetwood-Matt
Fleetwood-Matt
@girlnevergoesout basically just fighting against the recent criticism of her persona. And she says she wants "revenge" for all of it which I cant even describe how wild that phrasing is

Lizzy's schtick wore thin for me in 2012.

eh at least she has at least one more honestly amazing album than almost everyone who tries to be her (i will defend that high 9 score for NFR... its such a glorious album)

I'm happy she seems to be planning to release another album this year. If it's good (and I love the vast amount of her music) that's great. I like such productivity. As with Prince.

I agree some developments are problematic. As usual I will try to separate between art and artist as with Morrissey, Marilyn Manson etc, as far as that's possible.

@Bluecloud777 what do you think of Chemtrails? I'm a huge fan of her music but this album isnt doing much for me. The only other album in her discography I dont love is lfl

@duke86fan you are absolutely right, NFR is untouchable and most artists would kill to make an album as good

I’ve dipped in and out of Lana’s career since Video Games first dropped. But I’ve been getting into her music much harder these days (probably bad timing considering the hate around for her at the moment). But…I gotta say I do enjoy Chemtrails. It’s not close to NFR, but that’s likely intentional. It’s the more languid, less ambitious follow-up to the album that seemed to really break through.
