Bought my first concert tix in what seems like a million years. Waxahatchee in October. Fitting, since St. Cloud has prob been my most listened to album of the pandemic era.
Mdou Moctar's new single Afrique Victime gives those who haven't seen him live a taste of what he's capable of on that lefty guitar of his. Great song.
If you need a soothing song to go along with your morning coffee might I suggest the title track (Green to Gold) off the new The Antlers album. Loving this album, but especially this incredible track.

First time in a really long time a preordered record arrived the day the album actually dropped on streaming - Madlib and Four Tet's Sound Ancestors. TGIF
Stumbled upon Cassandra's Jenkin's song Hard Drive this morning. I'm not usually one for spoken word elements in songs, but this is really well done. This song reminds me of Jenny Hval's work. Diggin into her older stuff now …
Watched the episode of Song Exploder about R.E.M.'s Losing My Religion last night. Woke up determined to find a 25th anniversary remastered repress of Out of Time. What an incredible album from start to finish.
