how does a record, whose owner who is selling it, is 40 minutes away from me by car (if i had a car) takes an 8 hour detour to los angeles, gets lost in the central valley and still doesnt have a delivery date 7 days later
Completely struck out on RSD today, the dude in front of me picked the store clean. Did end up with a bunch of original pressing Dead Kennedy 7”, The Fall and Fugazi records though. So not too bad.

I have officially replaced the Phono input on my turntable. I am far too lazy right now to switch in my cartridge to test, but I soldered. It aint pretty, but the job is done.
Worth it, traveling all the way to my office to snag my office turntable. Operation: Bob the Builder is still in effect though, just waiting for the part to arrive.

gunna repair my pre-amp myself. dont think i've soldered anything since high school in electronics class. so this will be a lot of fun.
