@Phaneronic I don't think so. I think flipping solely has to do with you have no intention of listening to it and immediately put it up for sale. That is flipping to me.

I'm not going to tell you your business but it's not hard, and it's very satisfying to trade stuff you don't play for stuff you will. Although I would be in much awe of someone who managed to control their impulses such that their collection is svelt enough to have nothing they don't.

I'll sometimes buy 2 copies of albums that I want that I know will both sell out and go up in price. I keep one and sell the other in the hopes of getting a price that will effectively make my first copy free, or make a profit.
