Facts aren't up for debate. I'm not being rude, I'm being blunt.

For the record I am not a covid denier, anti vaxxer etc i do have my own opinion that the general idiots wearing masks are doing more harm than good. Bear in mind I wear up to 10 new ones everyday. Of everything I came in here and said. @Endtro & @Colonel_Angus just went with the whole shutdown and abruptly rude route. As opposed to @Mather who has a valid argument

So, uh, who likes vinyl records?

Hate them, too expensive, never flat. Horrid things.

I've done my own research and my belief is that vinyl records don't sound as good as my CD's. Ever since playing them on my Crosley this year, they've sounded worse.

I work a retail job and I used to kick people out for not wearing masks, now I'm not allowed to say anything to them🤬
Mather

What fucking retailer isn't allowing you to say anything? That's criminal.

That company should be prosecuted. That directly puts you in danger. They should be paying for security guards.

My local Albertsons told me they will not ask anyone to leave, as directed by corporate. So pissed about it too.

FWIW, both scientific and epidemiological data show masks work. Whether or not that will be refuted in the future will be seen, however, for now, they may help. And as I stated, it is our duty to look out for each other. I don’t have to like wearing a mask (I hate it, to be honest), but I do it anyways.

@Jmcg85 you don’t have to reply to this if you want to stay out, but I think that your asthma symptoms are likely related to your suspected case, and not masking. COVID has been shown to have very prolonged symptomatology, especially in people with pre-existing conditions.

Thanks @Sonicpharmacist. I honestly don't know for certain im really just theorising on what has changed this year for me. Being put back on an inhaler. First case covid was recorded here in Ireland 29th Feb 2020. I was very ill, more ill than I had ever been in my life 2nd week of December 19. Doc told me pneumonia but I had all the symptoms of covid. Long story short. Makes me wonder

Saying "don't work" was short silly answer.I was busy working. In hindsight shouldn't have weighed in.Working with general public all day, their use of the masks is an absolute concern to me. People are so unhygienic. They keep fixing,Pulling down,Taking off.Shoving them in pockets taking them back out, chin strapping, leaving under nose etc I think this all exacerbates the spread with their uneducation & uncleanliness
Jmcg85
Jmcg85
Of course a mask can reduce spread. If I was to gargle black light solution and sneeze it then turn on a black light I could see how far and wide it went. If I wore a mask obviously the majority of that will be contained within the mask and not out in the open. I get that. Its the type of mask and how they are being used by majority of people is why I dont believe they work as expected
