In all honesty, I was late to come around to them. I tried multiple times back in the 90's, but it never clicked with me until their comeback record a few years back. That one worked for me, and opened up the door. Or maybe I was just ready to hear the old stuff properly. In any case, I was a pretty quick convert.

@Aron Corin's voice is/was a really hard thing to deal with when listening to them. I found it very grating and wild. But now I'm warming up to it.

Yep that was the thing for me too. I get it now, but it always threw me off on my earlier attempts. I actually started warming up to them via the Wild Flag record that Carrie and Janet were involved in. I really enjoyed that one, and then when "No Cities To Love" hit, I REALLY liked that album.
