I do too. Alejandro and Mike Thompson have been so kind to me over the years.

My favorite Alejandro shows were the ones at The Cactus Cafe when he would have his little orchestra with him. He would get a lot of people on that little Cactus stage.

Yeah, I love the band shows too. He's really run with every group set up. I've probably caught him 8 tunes or so, and always fantastic.

At those Cactus shows, he would usually go out into the audience solo to conclude the show unplugged and acoustic. I think this was something he did at other smaller venues too. He once set up right in front of me, and performed 'Last To Know', which is one of my favorites from his early solo days. It was so quiet in the Cactus that I essentially held my breath during the whole song.

He definitely did that. I took a friend that was a big country fan, because he loved Kelly Willis who was opening. He killed, came out with the whole band acoustic and sang without a mic to the crowd. As silent as a show could be. My friend wasn't sure what he just witnessed, but was in awe. Still get chills thinking about that one.
