Voodoo is my favorite album ever followed probably by Al Green’s “Call Me” and I AINT AFRAID to say it. Those are just two impossibly monumental pieces of sonic perfection to me.
My fiancé and I just got our COVID tests back and both came back negative! My sister and her fiancé weren’t so lucky though, both tested positive and we saw them just over a week ago
It’s official. I just got laid off :/. So here it goes, if anyone (or anyone you know) is in a fortunate enough position to where they need help managing extra business I’m happy to extend my services. I’ve got a good deal of experience in personal assisting, community management, as well as UI/UX design. I’m a crafty dude! Crazy times man, wow.
It’s my birthday, now I gotta decide what records to get . Thinking these
Miles Davis - Someday My Prince Will Come (AP)
Grant Green - Nigeria (TP)
Chet Baker - Chet Baker Sings (TP)
Milt Jackson & John Coltrane - Bags and Trane (ORG)
I also want to pick up a BN80, what’s everyone’s favorites?!
Help me test my new music app and make it the platform that music lovers need! Leaving the link here as well as started a thread in general so people can leave feedback and such! Hope to see you all on the platform! Racket - Social Music Curation
Finally diverted my vinyl budget and bought two podcast mics! Time to put my hopes and dreams in motion! Will definitely be sharing the episodes here, I’m looking to interview musicians about their come up and the struggles that came with getting to where they are today. Hoping it will be a bit more mental health oriented than most interview shows. Can’t wait to see how it evolves!
Would love to know how people’s collections are balanced out. How much of your collection is Contemporary (let’s say post-1980) and how much of it is Classics (pre-1980). Think mine is probably 60% classics 40% contemporary rn
