Do you have the Day of the Dead compilation? I just picked It up on vinyl...but I have been listening to it since it came out. That comp got me interested in the Dead. From there, I started picking popular live stuff then slowly shifted to studio albums. There’s so much stuff it seems difficult. But it’s not. Oh the Long Strange Trip documentary on amazon also helped in understanding their story.

I do! Actually thought about listening to that this weekend but didn't want to go through the hassle of taking out the box etc.

@wokeupnew I've been going back and forth a lot on whether or not to pick up the Day of the Dead box. It has been on repeat for me since I learned of it only last week when someone posted it here. I'm unsure of it I will dig it out enough to warrant buying it. The VMP box is an absolute rip off and I have no doubt you'll be able to get it cheaper later on with 7500 copies being pressed.

@MikeH it seems like a really nice box but that price is outrageous. I wouldn’t mind picking it up later for like $200. As for Day of the Dead it’s a real nice set, 9xLPs for retail $200 (I think) I’m seeing it go second hand for $120~ which is worth it IMO.
