Pre-Order Thread

Juno doing pre-orders on anything seems to be a recent development, in the past they tended to have an “email me when this is in stock” button and otherwise only sold stuff they had on hand. Really quick shipping.

Yeah I was shocked they were offering a pre-order. I really wonder how many copies of the deluxe are being pressed. It's being released in less than 2 months so the numbers should be finalized. Why all the confusion?

Just got this Email from VMP: Adam Schlesinger, all proceeds from this compilation album will be donated to MusiCares COVID-19 Relief.

Bought this after listening on bandcamp. But 31 artists and no one does "leave the biker". That's a pity

My Juno preorder was cancelled as well haha.

I thought this might happen so I preordered another copy of Loveless and Isnt Anything from some place in Denmark. No cancellation on that one yet (also the cheapest, $58 after shipping)

my 3 preorders have gone from $103 to $73 to $58.
Can you share what shop this was, from?

Can I add, if anyone finds any live links to My Bloody Valentine preorders please tag me. Thinking I may have missed this one due to the demand, and a busy work schedule when it was announced.

not gonna lie, have only ever listened to MBV in passing. Found it really pretty and enjoyable, but it hasn’t clicked to me yet why people are FANATICAL over this band
long before mogwai got their "band louder than a literal jet engine" award, MBV were known for doing these long drone-y live things where people would have hallucinations because of the volume. the 33 1/3 book on loveless is pretty great, if you're into that sort of thing. anyway. they had sort of a mythos around them: they bankrupted their label, because kevin shields is crazy/a perfectionist. no one else really sounds like them, not even the other shoegaze bands, of which they have a solid claim to being either the first or the first to really get famous doing the shoegaze thing. i like ride, a lot, but next to mbv, ride are very clearly also-rans.

Has this been posted already, and wasn’t this a RSD release?
Or am I just imagining both those things?

Three Feral Pieces is a collaborative 12" EP from the Kentucky musicians Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Nathan Salsburg and the English writer Max Porter. We have a version limited to 250 copies in a handmade, letter pressed LP jacket made by Patrick Masterson (art by Max). It comes with three letter pressed inserts by LA printmaker Jennifer Upham, featuring art by Bonnie, Nathan and Max, and the B-side features an etching by Louisville artist Oscar Parsons. It's quite something to see. Some photos below:

The standard LP is not too shabby either and also comes with the inserts and the etching. That version is limited to 700 copies (and a small amount will be available at indie record shops in May):

Do you know who's bandcamp page this will be under?
