Pre-Order Thread

Close. It's actually relish black wax, not embellished. Relish is MBV's favorite condiment. The record will be soaked upon arrival, and can only be cleaned with your mouth.

Also, this will be the first of MBV's releases to be certified kosher.

Edit: But it looks like this certification is only for the deluxe!

Pretty sure that was the 2016 live version where it was actually the entire studio album but just with the addition of one live track at the end.

Fun fact: you can prepare for the release by dousing your current collection in the tasty pickled treat!
I am no longer that gullible BUT this does remind me of the time in 7th grade that a group of “cool kids” convinced me I could get the scratches out my CD’s by microwaving them.

Noob here. What is AAA and “tip on”?
AAA is all analog sourcing of the recording which some record collector (especially audiophiles) prefer.

Tip-On jacket or sleeves are more often a fancier more heavy duty album jacket. The artwork is not directly printed to the jacket it is printed on a separate sheet and then glued to the jacket. Most standard jackets the art is printed directly on the sleeve but to accommodate the printers the sleeves need to be much thinner.

Incase you missed out on the Fleeting Joys Despondent Transponder reissue, they are selling a few more on their band camp since so many people requested that they press more for the Diggers Factory reissue. Better get in on this now if you want one!

Sorry for the FOMO y'all... I just want to help you all out. 😐🤐😘

I actually like this album a lot and haven't actually listened to it for a long time! But never looked into a physical copy!! Thanks for the link!

If you guys hold out, Kevin Shields will be putting up Deluxe Orthodox versions for pre-order at sun-down on Friday. But you can't actually check out till the Sabbath is over. And in true KS fashion the Deluxe Orthodox version won't actually ship for about a year - that is, next Pesach and not until you find the afikoman. Lastly, you'll have to listen through a hole in a sheet. Oy vey!
